Negative reviews can equally be a reason why a book should be read. On August 26, 2007, a reviewer using the pseudonym "Abe" posted the following review at the Amazon website in the USA. It was the only book s/he had ever reviewed.
The author felt that the review contained certain factual errors and posted the following response, per the format structured by Amazon. "Abe" could have in turn rebutted, but elected instead to remove his/her review entirely. The reader can speculate as to why this was done, as well as to the accuracy of the original review, but the author suspects that he may have seen himself in the book, and did not consider the portrayal flattering.
